About Dr. Suhani Ghai, MDS

Dr Suhani Ghai is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. She had received her MDS from the People’s University, Bhopal, India, with Distinction and was the University Topper in the stream of OMFS (Gold Medalist). She had received her BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from the prestigious King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, India. She had won Honors / Distinction in 11 subjects in her BDS.

She is a keen researcher and has over 19 publications to her credit in international and national journals (all indexed in PubMed) with H-index of 7 and with over 850 citations. She has many papers under review. She has also co-authored a chapter in a textbook. She has presented many research papers at the international, national, and state-level conferences, and won prizes. 

She is a member of the European Head and Neck Society (EHNS), British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists (BAHNO), Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI), and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS). She is also a Publons certified peer reviewer for many international journals.

She has also completed her fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery from Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi.  She is a certified Implantologist and Endodontist. 

 She has extensive training in maxillofacial, oncological, plastic and dental procedures. Her goal is to make quality care accessible, spread awareness about oral diseases (especially cancer), and help patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident about their health decisions.
